NASCAR’s most polarizing personality, Bubba Wallace, has always been the talk of the town. Be it his on-track antics or off-track demeanor, Wallace always finds himself on the wrong end of fans’ criticism. Suffering from a lackluster season, the 23XI Racing driver was nicknamed “crybaby” earlier this season for his “need to be replaced” rant.

With the conclusion of the Crayon 301 Cup Series race in New Hampshire, fans seem to have found another driver more aptly suited for Bubba Wallace’s “crybaby” nickname.

Who is NASCAR’s newly crowned crybaby?

Starting the Crayon 301 from the second position on the grid, Joe Gibbs Racing’s Martin Truex Jr quickly passed teammate Christopher Bell, clinching the lead. Staying out front for the majority of the laps, Truex Jr went on to win stage one, while Bell fell behind. The #19 JGR driver’s onslaught continued throughout the race, as Martin Truex Jr collected the second stage win, before finally driving down New Hampshire’s Victory Lane with a 60-point Full House.

Although Martin Truex Jr stepped into the limelight with his third Cup race win of the season, his banter on the radio with crew chief James Small during the final laps piqued the viewers’ interest. During the final laps of the Crayon 301, Christopher Bell spun out, crashing into the outside wall before recovering quickly. This incident led to a caution being flown and needless to say, Truex Jr was frustrated.

Revealing JGR’s #19 teams radio chatter on Twitter, Jeff Gluck wrote- “Truex’s reaction: ‘Jesus, man. C’mon people.’ Small tells him it was Bell: ‘He just lost it, man.’ Truex: ‘We should have a company policy that says when one of your teammates is leading, don’t crash by yourself.’
