Back in 2020, NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace appeared on the Carlos Watson Show. Over there, he got candid about his personal life and even spilled a few secrets about himself. Among other subjects, he opened up one of his biggest phobias, and it is honestly pretty unexpected.

He simply said, “Spiders”. Honestly, it is an understandable fear, as the arachnids can be a little creepy to look at. In addition to that, some spiders can be venomous, so do banish any thoughts of trying to be Spider-Man. Other common phobias include a fear of heights, fear of water, fear of snakes, and so many more.

How has Bubba Wallace been performing in the current NASCAR season?

So far, the African-American driver has been performing fairly decently in the Cup Series. In fact, he even snatched his second career win, this time at the Kansas Speedway. Sadly, it wasn’t enough for him to enter the Playoffs, but he is driving the #45 car in place of Kurt Busch. Busch had actually managed to qualify for the Playoffs. Sadly, his untimely accident and subsequent concussion ruled him out of contention.

Owing to that, the 23XI Racing team roped in Wallace to drive Busch’s car. The idea was to try to improve their chances in the team’s championship. Now, there are just four races left in the 2022 Cup Series season, and there have been many twists. All that Bubba Wallace is doing, is focusing on his racing and trying to score as many points as possible.

From there, he will be looking forward to 2023 and a brand-new campaign. Bubba Wallace knows that he has a car that is capable of winning, as he and Kurt Busch proved it. All that he has to do is ensure that if he wins, it comes well before the Playoffs, and not when it is too late.
