Recently, Bubba Wallace proposed to his girlfriend Amanda Carter. The 23XI Racing driver took his partner on a small nature walk before bending the knee in front of a waterfall. All in all, it was a ‘Kodak Moment’ because it was an incredibly beautiful scene.

Carter is a financial analyst at Bank of America, and the couple met in 2016. It is worth noting that she earned her graduate degree in Finance and Banking from Appalachian State University.

Additionally, she was also the Vice-President of the Alpha Phi International Fraternity. Carter has been incredibly supportive of her soon-to-be husband in his NASCAR career.

How has Bubba Wallace performed in the 2021 season?

So far this season, Wallace has been putting in a decent performance for 23XI Racing. He has delivered a best finish of 5th at Pocono and sits in 20th place in the standings.

Admittedly, he has his work cut out for him if he wants to enter the Playoffs with four races left. However, the African-American driver will put his head down and charge.

Truthfully speaking, it will be difficult for Wallace to enter the Playoffs, unless he can sneak in a win. With four races to go, anything can happen to the #23 driver.

However, the general consensus is that the Top-16 will likely elude him this season. Although it may not be the result that Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan wanted, they can only improve from here.

Without a doubt, Bubba Wallace is a long-term investment for the team and Hamlin believes in his talent. With talks of expanding to a second car and having Kurt Busch on the radar, things could get interesting.

Wallace could really benefit under Busch and can learn from the experienced driver. Additionally, the 2004 Cup Series champion’s inputs can also help the team itself develop.
