Recently, he unveiled his new lid for the upcoming season. It is also worth mentioning that Wallace’s helmet has the DoorDash logo emblazoned on it. Doordash is just one of several high-profile sponsors to partner up with the team for the new season.

What does the new Bubba Wallace helmet look like?

From an aesthetic point of view, the helmet features a red, white, and gray color scheme. In addition to that, it possesses chrome accent lines and subtle shots of food items within the design. Apparently, RStar Designs was in charge of the 2021 helmet design for the driver.

It is worth noting that Bubba Wallace enjoyed one of his best seasons in his three-year NASCAR Cup Series career. Last year, he stormed to one top-five and five top-10 finishes. He also recorded an average finish of 21.1, having an overall 22nd-place finish in the championship standings.

The impressive run was enough to catch the eye of NBA legend Michael Jordan, and fellow NASCAR driver, Denny Hamlin. This led to Jordan and Hamlin setting up a team with several major sponsors and resources. In addition to that, the newly-christened 23XIRacing landed a technical alliance with TRD and Joe Gibbs Racing.

Owing to all of this, Bubba Wallace and 23XI Racing could be a dark horse. Obviously, challenging for a championship could be a little bit farfetched, but they have lofty ambitions of reaching the Playoffs.

Back when he raced for the Richard Petty Motorsports team, he consistently outperformed the car and surpassed many expectations. This is why Hamlin and Jordan believe that Wallace is the guy for them.
