Bubba Wallace Scores a New Sponsor, Will Use a New Green ‘Bitcoin’ Paint Scheme

NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace will drive in a new ‘Bitcoin’ themed car livery. The payment service company ‘Cash App’ joins the driver for a multiyear deal as the head sponsor.

Richard Petty Motorsports announced in a recent press release. They posted a video of the new paint scheme on Wallace’s car on Twitter. In the video, Bubba looks at his car and says, “Man, this thing sure would look good in green.”

After that, he announces the new partnership and reveals that he will drive the new car in the upcoming O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend.

They wrote in the tweet, NEWS: Cash App to partner with Richard Petty Motorsports @BubbaWallace// @CashApp

Subsequently, Cash App’s CEO Jack Dorsey revealed the new color scheme. He posted pictures of the car on Twitter. The new car scheme and driver uniform will come with the company’s branding and the ‘Bitcoin’ logo.

Notably, this will mark the company’s first tie-up with a professional sports team.

Bubba Wallace expresses his excitement

In the official statement, Wallace said that he’s very excited about the new partnership and is looking forward to work with the brand.

He said, “This announcement is really exciting news for our team. It is always nice to see new brands come to the sport and make a commitment like Cash App has with this news.”

He added, “We are excited to have Cash App onboard the No. 43 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE and I look forward to introducing NASCAR fans to the easiest way to send, spend, save, and invest their money.”

Additionally, Cash App executive Garrett McManus talked about the partnership with Bubba and Richard Petty Motorsports. He said, “Bubba Wallace is a once-in-a-generation talent and we are proud to partner with Richard Petty Motorsports to usher in this new era of racing.
