Arguably, the biggest story from NASCAR in the past week or so has been the penalties for NASCAR driver Brad Keselowski and his team. This was something that Freddie Kraft, the spotter of Bubba Wallace, recently joked about to TJ Majors, the spotter of Keselowski.

In the recent episode of the Door Bumper Clear podcast, Freddie Kraft pulled TJ Majors’ leg after his driver found himself on the wrong end of NASCAR’s judgment.

A judgment that saw the No.6 team short of 100 points and their crew chief, short of $100,000 along with losing some crew members.

I hope they suspend the spotter,” Kraft said. “TJ (Majors) is the only one in the jeopardy against the spending cos he is the only one who has got no crew members left.”

“They got the crew chief out for a month. They threw the car chief out this week.”

But while Kraft was joking about this situation, TJ Majors chimed in by saying that he was expecting “the message” for real.

“I’m not gonna lie, when I saw Bob (Pockrass) tweet to this, I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m waiting for the message,'” Majors said. “I was getting ready to put my bag and be escorted out.”

Bubba Wallace could be on the receiving end of a penalty himself

After the race in Austin, the 23XI Racing driver could find himself and his team penalized in the coming days.

This is because, during the race, car No.23 lost its wheel in turn 16 as a lug nut came loose. This led to the wheel popping off and going away to its own race, leaving the driver in no-man’s-land and helpless.

This wheel incident is a direct violation of NASCAR rules.  And as we know, NASCAR isn’t messing around with the rules this season.

So consequently, Bubba Wallace could lose his crew chief and a couple more crew members for four races.

And although his spotter, Freddie Kraft, won’t be suspended, he should prepare himself for retribution from TJ Majors in the coming days.
