In his relatively short career so far in NASCAR, Bubba Wallace has had some pretty decent paint schemes on his car. Especially now that he’s driving for 23XI Racing, a team filled with high-end sponsors like McDonald’s and Dr. Pepper, Wallace’s cars are pretty sweet.

But sweet they may be, they’re not the best in the eyes of his spotter.

The best, or rather, the greatest paint scheme in the opinion of Freddie Kraft, Wallace’s spotter, belongs to his other associate, Dale Earnhardt Jr. The thing is, Dale Jr’s Xfinity Series team, JR Motorsports, recently revealed the paint scheme of their #7 car.

And that is sponsored by Door Bumper Clear, a weekly show under the Dirty Mo Media group of which Kraft is an active member.

“Easily the greatest paint scheme in the history of NASCAR. Be sure to cheer for our big heads, (even bigger now) on the hood of the 7 car this weekend. Good luck @J_Allgaier,” Kraft tweeted to a video of the #7 JR Motorsports car.

Bubba Wallace doesn’t listen to Freddie Kraft

In the episode of the Door Bumper Clear following the Talladega race, a fan had a suggestion for Freddie Kraft.

“Freddie, if you need, give me a call, I know some sign language. We can work on getting you some proficient sign language. Because it seems like Bubba (Wallace) is deaf, doesn’t know how to use his ears to listen,” the fan said. “So you can sign to him to hear, to see a spotter now that you’re going to be signing to him so he doesn’t run over (Joey) Logano.”

This led to Kraft revealing what he said to Wallace ‘in the moment’.

“I said, ‘Tight, tight, tight. Keep pushing,” the spotter said of his radio message to his driver.

Upon hearing this, TJ Majors, another spotter, mentioned a similar incident from the race in Atlanta as he followed it up with the question, “Damn, he doesn’t listen, does he?”

“No, he don’t listen to me. That’s a known fact,” Kraft conceded.
