

NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace recently posted a tweet after finishing Sunday’s iRacing event. In his tweet, he took a cheeky dig at his ‘Rage Quit’ incident that cost him a sponsor.
Yesterday, he was racing in the iRacing Pro Invitation Series race in a virtual Richmond Raceway. William Byron won the race in his number 24 Chevrolet. Following him were Timmy Hill, Kligerman, Cassill and Kyle Busch to complete the top five.
Additionally, Bubba made contact with Clint Bowyer during the race to which commentators jokingly said ‘He Got Bubba’d’.

Bubba mentioned renowned journalists Dusting Long, Kelly Crandle Jeff Gluck and Fox’s Bob Pockrass in his tweet. He asked them to mention that he is the last one to leave the race track. And even gave the crowd a Polish victory lap.

His tweet started a hilarious exchange of tweets with users appreciating ‘Bubba’ for his fun take on a rather serious incident. Some users even posted a video of ‘Bubba’ finishing the race. In addition, Many famous racing personalities like fellow driver Parker Kligerman appreciated Bubba for his positive attitude.

Bubba lost a sponsor after rage quitting a NASCAR iRacing event
A few weeks ago, NASCAR driver Darrell Wallace, found himself in a heap of trouble after an Esports race. After Bubba’s ‘rage-quit’ from an I-racing event, the American driver found out that NASCAR Series partner Blue-Emu terminated their sponsorship.

The incident took place in the early stages of the race. Coincidently Blue-Emu was watching the race. And they were unimpressed with Wallace’s on track behaviour and conduct. Additionally, adding fuel to the fire, the company told Wallace about their decision against rage-quitting in front of millions of viewers on Twitter. So they promptly terminated their sponsorship with the #43 driver. After that, The company said in a tweet that they want “drivers, not quitters”.
