Catalano Brothers all geared up for the Modified Tour 2024

It has to be noted that the Catalano family has been racing since the early 1960’s. So the brothers truly carry a family legacy and it will be a moment to cherish for the family when the three of them feature at the NASCAR Modified Tour 2024. The youngest Trevor while making his tour debut, will become the sixth member of the Catalano family to compete with the series.

As per RaceProWeekly, Tommy Catalano explained how eager his brothers are to race in the Tour. “We all like to race. All my brother, myself, my mom, it’s just something we all like to do. If there is one of running the Tour full-time, it makes it tough doing the back-to-back (races) to get races in locally for (my brother). They’ve been really eager to give it a go on the Tour.”

The two younger brothers would be a part of the crew when Tommy used to race with the series. Now that all three will be racing, so there will be a need for expansion in the pit crew. “As a starting point, I lost my crew; my tire changers were Tyler and Trevor. That’s something we’ve been trying. At the end of the year, ultimately the people we bring in, we spend so much time with them they become almost like family.”

Tommy Catalano talks about the realistic goals for the NASCAR Modified Tour

It is not all about winning but rather trying to be sustainable and keeping it fun for everybody. This was the message by Tommy Catalano. However, it is not just the Modified Tour that the members of the Catalano family will feature. Apart from the Modified Tour season, the family will feature in a mix of Modified and Super Late Model events.

To expect to come out of the gate and finish one-two-three is obviously not a realistic goal. That would be nice; that’s what everyone would love to happen, but we’re trying to be realistic about it. Part of it keeping it sustainable and keeping it fun for everyone is having realistic goals for everyone to be excited about.
