Just when it seemed their feud was over, Kevin Harvick joked about his crash at Charlotte Roval, after colliding with his archenemy, Chase Elliott. On a recent appearance at NASCAR Race Hub, Harvick made fun of himself about the incident at Roval.

“You know I kind of screwed up at the Roval and drove the thing straight into the wall.”

“We weren’t even going to bring that up now, but you did,” show co-host Regan Smith added to laughs from Harvick.

“There’s no reason not to,” Harvick added. “That video lives forever. That’ll be the Chase Elliott fan club video for the rest of their existence.”

The two drivers have a long-standing feud that started in Bristol and resurfaced in ROVAL.

Harvick vs. Elliott

At Bristol, Elliott, who was leading the race, had to go back in the pits after a move from Harvick resulted in a cut tire. Harvick had victory in sight, but Elliott, who had come back on the track, got in front of Harvick and remained there, hindering his progress.

This helped Kyle Larson’s push to come out in front, which he eventually did with three laps to go.

But the real drama was yet to come as Harvick, who finished in second, parked his car right behind Elliott. And the drivers, who were both frustrated with each other, had, well, quite an emotional outburst of resentment with each other in the pits.

In Charlotte, though, Harvick went deep into the corner, knocking the rear bumper of Elliott and sending him into the wall.

Payback by Kevin Harvick?

“Do you remember Bristol?”

After the race, NASCAR threatened both the drivers with parking their cars if the feud continued.

Merry Offseason Kevin

Harvick, who locked up and missed the corner, slammed into the wall, which ended his day. But Elliott clawed his way back in the race despite his crash, advanced into the Round Of 8.

But he also wished Harvick a ‘Merry Offseason’ post-race in Charlotte, which eventually became a T-shirt slogan.

Although Harvick’s season is over, the feud between the two seems it will go on for quite some time more, albeit off-track, albeit in-jokes.
