While talking about Majors’ theory on Kyle Larson, Kraft’s savage reply was definitely the highlight of the conversation.

Talking about why he doesn’t mind racing aggressively, TJ Majors said; “I don’t mind somebody being aggressive. How can you blame another guy for racing aggressive if that’s how you are gonna race? I mean the guy is tryna win the race.”

He further continued; “Whether you like it or not. Kyle Larson is not there to collect points, he is there to collect a trophy. And if you are race car drivers, it is really hard to tell yourself going into that spot. After everything that you have overcome that day, you pass this car, you are getting the victory. This is the last guy and how do you be like ‘No, I am gonna let him?’”

Agreeing with Majors, Tyler Reddick said; “Looking at his record though. He is Kyle Larson and he doesn’t move anybody ever on purpose.” To this, Majors added, “Go back to Road America, he is honestly a very clean racer.”

Hearing Majors say that Kyle Larson is a clean racer, Freddie Kraft couldn’t stop himself from bringing up the notorious Watkins Glen episode.

He immediately said, “Chase Elliott fans will disagree with you.” The run-in between the two teammates during the race attracted a lot of media attention. And it is safe to say that Larson wasn’t exactly ‘driving clean’ at the Watkins Glen track.

Majors agreed with Kraft on that one. But he said that at the end of the day it’s all about racing.

Freddie Kraft on how the Watkins Glen episode was not Kyle Larson but Chase Elliott’s fault

This was not the first time that Bubba Wallace’s spotter, Freddie Kraft, put forth his opinions on the Watkins Glen episode. However, in another episode of Door Bumper Clear, Kraft argued that the wreck was Chase Elliott’s fault.

He said; “You chose the outside lane, you let that guy (Kyle Larson) have control of your race car in the turn one. It’s just simple as that. We’ve seen three races this weekend, three late restarts. And the leader that took the outside lane in all three races lost the race.”

He further said that he knows starting outside is preferable for a better run. But he pointed out that this puts the leader at the mercy of others. The drivers at the back are desperate for the lead and said this is why Larson did what he did.
