How did Chase Elliott grab victory?

During the race, Chase Elliott grabbed the lead during the second half of the 140-lap event. However, he had a huge dogfight on his hands, thanks to a hard-charging Kyle Busch. Their duel was so close that their finish was only 0.418 seconds apart.

Rounding out the top 5 were, championship leader Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, and Denny Hamlin. Meanwhile, Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano, Alex Bowman, Aric Almirola, and Martin Truex Jr. completed the top 10 respectively.

Gimmicks aside, everything boiled down to good old-fashioned racing among the 20 drivers. It is also worth noting that Aric Almirola managed to qualify for the All-Star Race, along with Matt DiBenedetto and William Byron.

To achieve this, DiBenedetto won the race while Byron and Almirola won the first two stages. Taking the final qualifying spot was Clint Bowyer thanks to the Fan Vote.
