Late in the race, ThorSport driver Matt Crafter was spun by his “worthless teammate” Grant Enfinger, with 16 laps to go.

But at the end of the race, Crafter’s crew chief, Junior Joyner, was seen expressing his thoughts about the incident directly to Trip Bruce. And he did so quite passionately.

Joyner was caught hurling obscenities to Bruce in a video.

“You f****g p***y co*w***d, said Joiner.

You would assume from Joyner’s reaction that Crafton did not finish the race or finished way behind. But on the opposite, the three-time champion finished in fifth place and qualified for the Last 4 in Phoenix.

So what should ideally have been an atmosphere of happiness and focus, surprisingly turned into an impatient and tempered brawl.

Surely there has to be more to it, right?

Junior Joiner or Trip Bruce, who started the fight?

In another video, the two of them are seen getting in an altercation. But in this footage, the matters also shift from verbal hurls to getting physical.

However, here, Joiner isn’t coming off as an instigator but a peacemaker.

Trip Bruce can be seen losing his temper while Junior Joiner appears to be acting as a mediator. But soon, the former appears to take it too far, which results in the latter pushing him.

The officials jumped in before matters could get worse, as Joyner can be seen being taken away.

Towards the end, it appears that Joiner really wanted to have a go at it while Bruce stood there calmly as he still could.

Eyes on the prize

At Martinsville, the last Four were set for the title decider race next weekend; it was Zane Smith who took the chequered flag at the track.

Along with Matt Crafton and Ben Rhodes, John Hunter Nemechek will compete in the penultimate race of the season.

Crafton will look to win his fourth NASCAR Truck Series title in Phoenix, but that is, if the driver and his team can keep their calm.
