Bubba Wallace, Cody Ware, Austin Cindric, Harrison Burton. One reads these names and immediately thinks of stock cars. After all, this is what they do, they’re race car drivers by profession.

But imagine those four drivers in a band. And just to make things fun, add Gwen Stefani to the equation.

Now, this isn’t a hypothetical scenario of absurdity but a real, albeit humorous, proposition that Cody Ware recently approved. It all started with Ware showing off his guitar skills on Twitter after a parody account Nascarcasm suggested the idea of a NASCAR All-Star Ska band.

This led to Nascarcasm finalizing the lineup with Austin Cindric on Tuba, Bubba Wallace on drums, Cody Ware on guitar, and Harrison Burton on another tuba (just in case).

Even Phoenix Raceway reacted, “so what you’re saying is we have our pre-race concert?” “Working on it. The band needs a name and a few more members. Will hold auditions. I want @RossChastain in it so it can be The Mighty Mighty Rosstones,” Nascarcasm replied.

“Bringing big band and ska back to mainstream. Somebody call Gwen Stefani,” Cody Ware added.

Bubba Wallace purchases country music star Blake Shelton’s guitar at auction

Recently, country music star Blake Shelton put up one of his guitars, a signed one, up for auction with the aim of donating the proceeds to charity. And it was the 23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace who took the guitar home while the money went to a great cause.

After the auction, Shelton tweeted, Hey @BubbaWallace I am certain my signature ain’t worth that kind of money but thanks for raising money for a great cause!”

To this, Wallace replied by asking for some guitar lessons from the man himself as he wrote, “How about some lessons on this baby!!!”
