Kurt Busch is an integral part of the NASCAR Cup series. The veteran has been a part of over 700 races in his 21 years in NASCAR. He has won 31 races and has over 300 top-10 finishes.

Kurt Busch turned 42 last month. However, age is just a number for the NASCAR veteran. In November 2019, Kurt Busch signed a deal with the Chip Ganassi Racing team for at least two more years. He has a strong sponsor backing with him. Monster Energy Drink is his primary sponsor.

Forbes reports, “I’m having a blast right now,” said Busch.

“I feel like I delivered on all of my promises to help the team bump up as well as continue moving forward in a trajectory that all of us like, to be more competitive and to win and to run upfront.”

He right now drives full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series. Kurt Busch drives the No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE for Chip Ganassi Racing. He is the 2004 NASCAR Cup Series champion. He is the elder brother of double NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch. The siblings are second-age drivers. Their dad, Tom, also won a few NASCAR races.

Busch was driving for Roush Racing when he won the 2004 NASCAR Cup Series title.

With a 2006 success in the Busch Series, he became the driver to win races in each of the three of NASCAR’s top divisions: the Cup Series, the Xfinity Series, and the Camping World Truck Series. Busch is additionally a Daytona 500 victor. He won the famous race in 2017.

Kurt Busch right now ties for the second-longest-tenured full-time driver in the Cup Series with Ryan Newman. They made their first beginning in 2000.

Kurt Busch is the face of the Chip Ganassi Racing team. Kyle Larson, the other driver for the team was suspended after using a racial slur during a live stream of an online racing event when NASCAR was on halt due to COVID-19. The team then appointed 48 years old Matt Kenseth. Although Kenseth is the 2003 NASCAR champion, he hasn’t made an impact this season. He is currently in the 27th position in the Cup Series.
