It is safe to say that Corey LaJoie is not a big fan of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. This weekend, the Cup Series paddock heads there, as the Playoff fight heats up. As things stand, there are just two spots remaining with five races to go in the regular season.

However, it seems that LaJoie misses the oval layout of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. To the point that he reacted fairly positively to the prospect of the oval layout returning next season.

Of course, the regular front-runners will try and make sure that he does not sneak into the Playoffs with a victory. Otherwise, it spells doom for some yet-to-qualify drivers, like Ryan Blaney, Martin Truex Jr and Kevin Harvick.
