In any motorsport, being the fastest driver is not the only factor in winning a race. There are also pit stop strategies to consider, as well as how quickly teams can perform pit stops.

For that, all of their equipment needs to be in tip-top condition, especially things like pit guns and jacks.

To that end, Spire Motorsports driver Corey LaJoie gushed about the quality of the Hendrick Motorsports jacks.

LaJoie and Kyle Petty were discussing the quality of equipment at Spire and at Hendrick Motorsports. The difference between the two was pretty much night and day.
The #7 driver said, “Those jacks they use are unbelievable.”

“It’s not like you go to an Autozone shop. They’ve got this and that and shocks, springs and handle carbon fibre.”
“It’s unbelievable.”

What lies ahead for Corey LaJoie in the NASCAR Cup Series?
Currently, the Spire Motorsports driver is in the midst of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series campaign. Although he has not had a particularly spectacular season, LaJoie has shown flashes of brilliance.
A prime example was the Cup race at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, where he challenged Chase Elliott for the win.

Sadly, he ended up wrecking and he could only sit and rue what could have been.

It wasn’t exactly a one-off because, during the last visit to the Atlanta Motor Speedway, he finished in a lofty fifth place. Since then, though, he has mostly hovered around the Top 20 or lower.

On the bright side, there are still three races in the regular season remaining. So there is time for him to try to sneak in a shock win.

As things stand, there is just one spot remaining after Kevin Harvick seized victory at the Michigan International Speedway. Now the competition is really going to heat up for that final spot.
