NASCAR’s pit crew members are known for their speed in removing and replacing tires, jacks, etc as fast as possible. However, recently we saw a bunch of criminals carry out a wheel change so fast it may land them a spot in one of the NASCAR teams, if not straight into jail.

A Tesla captured footage which showed, two men pop out of a car and start using a jack on a parked white C7 Corvette. But the moment they lifted the car, the alarms went off, one couldn’t hear the sound in the video, but the flashing lights indicated the same. As a result, the thieves went into panic mode and accelerated their theft. The third man quickly jumped out of the car, and all three of them removed the $700 wheel together and removed the jack after placing a wooden slab underneath the White Corvette.

Within 60 seconds the trio loaded up with their prize and buzzed away as fast as possible from the scene. The crime took place in broad daylight in Southlake, Texas.

People react to the NASCAR pit crew like wheel removal

With speeds like that the guy handling the tire could have most probably tried out for a NASCAR pit crew member. People called the crime to show the skill of the ones involved. They also encouraged that these criminals should probably get real jobs though.

Fans stated, “Fire the guy that shut the trunk before loading the jack. Otherwise, quick job. No need to take all the stock wheels when you can minimize risk and take one at a time in different locations. I give it a 7.5. Seriously though… Get a real career.”

“Midnight Body Shop needed a wheel to finish the repairing the collision on a shop job. Higher profit margin since they steal the parts.”

“Everyone knows what should happen to people like this, but I’d be Zucc’d if I said it. Too many low lives that shouldn’t have an air addiction anymore of you catch the drift.”

“Dummies. Couldn’t even finish the job because the car alarm went off. Or they would have been there long enough for cops to show up.”

If not the Cup Series, there are quite a lot of racing series in the country, where they could get themselves into, and also in the process, they would be on the legal side of things for their skills.
