She rightly pointed out to Gluck, “You sort of have to be authentic or else people can see right through it.” Due to the unrealistic societal pressure of having it all together, even with little kids in your life, Samantha Busch chose to change the narrative, one chaotic social media post at a time.

“My whole thing was to make women feel good about themselves and to raise them up.” She wanted her followers to know that it was possible to be a devoted family member and still follow their personal and professional dreams. “A lot of times I find myself spreading myself too thin.” Being married to a top-tier NASCAR driver was far from easy. When the racing community cheered the #5 Richard Childress Racing driver on the racetrack, it was because of the behind-the-scenes effort, care, and management of Kyle Busch’s wife, Samantha Busch.

In an interview with CharlotteParent.com, she admitted, “I am very hard on myself because I want to be a great mother and wife while also expanding and running my businesses to a high level.” In a humorous display of that sentiment, Samantha shared a clip in which Kyle Busch was getting dressed for the racetrack while Samantha had to oversee household chores such as cooking, laundry, dishes, and getting her kids ready simultaneously. 

The purpose of these intimate glimpses into her life was for all her fans and followers to not be so hard on themselves, and they were all in this together. This resonated in her empathetic words to Gluck as well: “We’re busy and a lot of moms are busy, and so I guess kind of my message is, ‘That’s OK’.”
