Ever since he retired from the Cup Series, Dale Earnhardt Jr is having the time of his life. Recently, he hung out with motorsport analyst, Rutledge Wood. Together, the two of them had a lot of fun, with Dale Jr attempting to do some weightlifting. Of course, Dale Jr was a little out of practice, but he did exercise his brain muscles.

WOAH! @DaleJr is just casually PUMPING out 315 pound bench reps! 💪
To be exact, he sneakily recruited some powerlifters to give him a hand. However, he only managed one lift before he decided that enough was enough. Of course, he made a big show of stretching to limber himself up, because he didn’t want to ‘pull a hammy’. After watching the clip, several fans took to Twitter to react to the scene.
Absolutely no chance this was legit.
Wow he did it ONCE. Do 10 and then brag about it
For the record, "reps" was only 1 rep, and I have to question how many of the 315 he actually lifted. lol

What else was Dale Earnhardt Jr doing?
The former Hendrick Motorsports driver has been getting up to a lot of fun shenanigans in the last week or so.
In the buildup to last night’s Super Bowl, Dale Jr also helped predict who would win the mega event. Along with him for the ride were Blaney, Elliott, and Wallace. What the quartet did was name the team who would win, and then have a run in their cars. Of course, Dale Earnhardt Jr had to borrow Alex Bowman’s #48 car to compete, as he is not an active driver.
For example, he promised to appear on Wood’s TV show, ‘The Floor is Lava’. Dale Jr didn’t plan to come alone though, as he promised to bring a few friends with him for the game. He mentioned Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott, Bubba Wallace, Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, and Hailie Deegan as contestants.
Like Dale Jr, the NASCAR community is all excited for the Daytona 500, the race that will officially start the 2022 Cup Series season, next weekend.
