Dale Jr is happily retired and content with running his Xfinity team, JR Motorsports. The outfit has enjoyed three Xfinity Series championship wins in 2014, 2017, and 2018. During those years, Chase Elliott, William Byron and Tyler Reddick clinched the championship. Occasionally, Dale Jr comes on for a cameo or two at select races, but they are few and far in between.
Even though he is semi-retired, when he does step into the car, he delivers decent performances. In fact, since 2011, he has not finished lower than 15th and has 16 Top 5 finishes, including a win. Speaking of that win, it came in the 2016 season at the Richmond Raceway and it was his last ever win in the Xfinity series.
