Dale Earnhardt Jr Reveals a Candid Confession About Himself When He Is in the Passenger Seat

Yesterday, NASCAR enthusiast, Jeff Gluck tweeted out about his 2 part exclusive with Dale Jr. While the 12-question session usually takes no more than a few hours, Gluck’s interaction with Dale Jr was long, not to the extent that it was boring but quite the contrary. The conversation was a treat for ardent Jr fans.

Despite the session being quite long, the writer cut it down into 2 parts, offering his readers a wide perspective about their favorite driver. When asked about him being a passenger while his wife, Amy, is behind the wheel, a humble Junior admitted his guilt.

Guilty of being on the phone too much as he said, “I’m probably buried in my phone.”

“I don’t know how this will sound, but I feel like as a husband and a father, it’s a responsibility of mine to drive us where we go. Amy doesn’t mind driving, and she really doesn’t love my driving, but I feel guilty when I sit in the passenger seat because I’m going to get on my phone and I’m going to get these emails,” confessed the 48-year-old while clearing himself of not being a driving critique like most would consider a race driver to be.
