Weather issues have been a major reason for frustration among NASCAR fans since the start of the 2024 season. Nearly every circuit that hosted the primary race of the cup season saw some kind of weather problem, including Daytona, Las Vegas, and the Clash at the Coliseum. Unfortunately, this recurring pattern also affects other racing series, such as Dale Earnhardt Jr and Kevin Harvick’s late-model race events.

Due to impending weather, the CARS Tour race had to be postponed from Saturday to Sunday. For the same reason, their most recent zMAX CARS Tour racing event is also experiencing a long delay, which is upsetting, but a NASCAR insider shared an interesting thought about this revamp schedule.

To entice more drivers from NASCAR’s top ranks, Dale Earnhardt Jr’s CARS Tour secured zMAX as its primary sponsor in 2024. With the addition of talents like Kyle Larson, the pilot season gave fans hope that the series would be a hit. With the Grand National Super Series season experiencing ongoing success, the third zMax Cars Tour race will start off on Saturday with the National Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram 250 event.

Unfortunately, NASCAR races are never without the threat of impending weather. The same problem that KevinsaysYes.com 125 had before reportedly affects the third race of the CARS Tour season at New River All American Speedway. Given the grim weather predictions, the Jacksonville, NC, event has been rescheduled to April 13, 2024. Despite getting upset about the delay, Dale Earnhardt Jr. delightedly hinted that he might enter the race since his calendar was empty that day. He reacted by tweeting, “Unfortunate but the right call. And my calendar looks empty April 13th.

The event will now be part of the Ronnie Hetu Memorial weekend at New River All-American Speedway, as per the new announcement. Anyone who has already purchased tickets for Dale Earnhardt Jr’s Late Model Stock Racing does not need to repurchase them. “An updated schedule will be released in the coming weeks. Tickets already purchased for this weekend’s event will be honored on April 13th,” as confirmed by the official CARS Tour Twitter handle.

With this special event postponed, NASCAR fans now have more time to discuss the recent tire issue at Bristol. Dale Jr, known as the Pied Piper of Daytona, isn’t one to stay quiet about such matters. Interestingly, he recently said that Goodyear shouldn’t change the things that went wrong with the tires in Bristol.

For Dale Earnhardt Jr, this is a welcome trend, and he wants Goodyear to maintain it that way. He said, “Goodyear don’t move, Goodyear don’t change, ask the teams to make the adjustments, ask the teams to adapt. Just the same way they adapted during that race, ask the teams to find what they can inside those cars and in the setups of those cars to make those tiers work.
