Many fans were looking forward to see Kevin Harvick make an appearance on the Dale Jr Download podcast. Unfortunately, the much-anticipated season finale will have to be delayed a little. This is because Dale Earnhardt Jr caught a bout of flu. The good news is that he has tested negative for COVID-19 twice, so he is safe on that front.

In a statement, he said, “Unfortunately, the season-finale Dale Jr Download podcast with guest Kevin Harvick will have to wait a few weeks. I have come down with some sort of cold or flu (tested negative for COVID-19 twice) and see no reason to risk anyone’s health. Kevin was kind enough to allow us to reschedule for Tues., Nov. 30, and we are both excited to get together to chat soon!”

Hopefully, Dale Earnhardt Jr recovers soon and Harvick also stays healthy. November 30th is the date that the recording has been moved to. Hopefully, this date will be kept and fans will be treated to an insightful conversation.

Why are fans eager for the Dale Earnhardt Jr and Kevin Harvick meeting?

A while ago, Kevin Harvick had some controversial opinions on Dale Jr. Although the former Hendrick driver is one of the most popular NASCAR drivers, Harvick criticised his lack of results. According to the Stewart-Haas man, Dale Jr’s influence was hurting the sport. He observed that the driver has notched up 26 wins in the span of 19 years, which was a little humiliating.

Now, the disappointed fans will have to wait another two weeks before they can see the two meet. When they eventually do, the big question is, will Harvick’s comments be addressed? Will Dale Earnhardt Jr take offense and hit out at the SHR driver? All of these answers will only come on November 30th.
