In the recent episode of Dale Jr. Download, the podcast show of former NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr, the NASCAR Hall of Famer, got into a heated argument with his co-host and friend, Mike Davis. However, the clip of the argument that got out, showed Dale Jr being angry without context.

At least that’s what he himself felt.

So the JR Motorsports owner decided to call out his own media company, Dirty Mo Media, on Twitter for their mistake. Now, it has to be mentioned; it was all in good humor, Dale Jr. pointing out the lack of context to his argument and even the argument itself with Davis.

“Man DMM, y’all didn’t play the 10 minutes of him talking in circles that got me annoyed. Makes it look like I start cussing right off the get,” Earnhardt Jr tweeted.

The whole argument video had gotten so viral, especially Dale Jr’s Kyle Petty remark, that Petty’s name began trending on Twitter. Because of this, Earnhardt Jr felt he had to explain the whole thing to Petty.

“Opens twitter and sees Kyle Petty is trending. Makes note to self to try and give Kyle Petty context when I see him tomorrow,” he tweeted hilariously.

What were Dale Earnhardt Jr and Mike Davis arguing about?

The host and the co-host of the Dale Jr. Download were discussing the Ross Chastain wreck that came by the hand of Denny Hamlin. Or did it? Because that was really the subject of conflict between Earnhardt Jr. and Davis.

While the former NASCAR driver felt that Hamlin intentionally wrecked him, Davis felt otherwise. And when Dale Jr. started to reference or support his claim with his experience in racing, Davis didn’t buy that.

But it was in the heat of the moment, and really, it was just two friends, two passionate individuals with different opinions, having a go at each other with their own version of events.
