On Sunday, there was a bit of an altercation between Joey Logano and Bubba Wallace. It all started with a late lunge from Logano and ended up with both of them spinning off the track. Later on, Wallace got into the back of the #22 Team Penske car and ran millimeters away from him.

Crucially, Wallace never touched him at all, but it was enough to spook Logano into going off the track. In light of this, former Hendrick Motorsports employees Dale Earnhardt Jr and Steve Letarte spoke of the incident.

The former Hendrick Motorsports driver knows that Logano has a reputation for being an aggressive driver. Unfortunately this time around, it came back to bite him hard, and he ended up all the way down in 27th place. Now, he will head into the next race at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, seeking redemption. In the meantime, Bubba Wallace will be seeking to stay away from such kamikaze moves, which could jeopardize his race.

Finally, Dale Earnhardt Jr will be focusing on his JR Motorsports team, after their mixed bag Xfinity race. Over there, Noah Gragson did himself no favors when he deliberately caused a wreck. Suffice to say, Dale Jr was not at all impressed, but was just ‘in shock’.
