Only a few know more about the ins and outs of NASCAR than Dale Earnhardt Jr. The former driver was not only born in a family that has racing in their blood, but he has remained close to it even in his retirement.

Perhaps that is the reason why Dale Jr knows more or rather knows about things that most don’t know until they’re meant to know.

Take, for instance, his recent ‘revelation’ or the half revelation about an iconic circuit that could make its comeback on the calendar soon. Now, it has to be said that Earnhardt Jr neither confirmed nor denied it. He simply gave a clue, a big one, at what the future would look like for the track, how something could very well be announced.

In the recent episode of the Dale Jr. Download, the JR Motorsports co-owner was joined by his sister and co-owner, Kelley Earnhardt Miller, who in response to a question of which tracks she wants on the calendar, said, “North Wilkesboro when it gets rebuilt.”

This led to Dale Jr. very stealthily replying with, “Y’all might wanna keep your ear to the ground.”

The former Hendrick driver added that North Wilkesboro is “almost like”, followed by a suspenseful pause that more or less suggests a big announcement on the cards in the near future.

Which tracks does Dale Earnhardt Jr want on the NASCAR calendar?

As for the five tracks that he wants on the calendar, Dale Jr picked a combination of new additions as well as old ones with a new look.
