Josh Berry has been a pretty impressive figure in the Xfinity Series scene. This is because he has snatched two wins in the 2021 Xfinity Series season. The first one came at the Martinsville Speedway for JR Motorsports in the #8 car. The second one came at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for JR Motorsports’ #1 car.

It is also worth mentioning that he has continued his good run of form outside NASCAR. He has been making a splash in the Late Model category, with a few wins under his belt. Safe to say, his Xfinity boss, Dale Earnhardt Jr, has been taking notice and likes what he is seeing.

Recently, the driver clinched victory at the Thanksgiving Classic race in North Carolina. An ecstatic Dale Earnhardt Jr said, Proud of this group. Amazing cars and a great wheelman Josh Berry. Thanks All Thing Automotive, iRacing and Chevrolet for supporting our program”

This is not the first time that Josh Berry earned praise from Dale Jr

Earlier this month, Berry competed and won the Solid Rock Carriers Battle of the Stars. Following that particular race, he said“It’s really special. That was exciting for me to come somewhere new and the Goodyear family, here, they have put in a lot of effort to fix this place up and build it up. You can tell they are very passionate about what they’re doing.”

Now, big things await the 31-year-old in 2022, as he is expected to make his full-time debut. He is set to take stage with the #8 JR Motorsports car in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Additionally, he will partner Noah Gragson, Justin Allgaier, and Sam Mayer. Of course, there is a fifth driver in the lineup, in the form of limited-schedule driver and team owner, Dale Earnhardt Jr himself.
