A brilliant performance in the NASCAR Xfinity series saw Noah Gragson come up in the limelight. The Rick Hendrick driver finished in fourth place after starting the race from third place on the grid in the Dover Motor Speedway. The performance caught the eyes of NASCAR Hall of Fame Dale Earnhardt Jr and Vice Chairman of Hendrick Motorsports Jeff Gordon.

It is believed that Jeff Gordon has appreciated the young talent and congratulated Noah on his Dover achievement. Gragson finished behind Josh Berry, who drives for Dale Earnhardt Jr’s team in the Xfinity series. The powerful duo of Dale and Jeff both had their fair share of words for the young Xfinity driver.

Being a driver of Rick Hendrick, Noah’s connection with Jeff is an obvious one. The driver stated that he met with the higher official of Hendrick Motorsports after his Dover race. In an interview put up by Bob Pockrass, a NASCAR reporter, Gragson asserted about Jeff and his upcoming target.

Noah conveyed, “I hope they’re not looking at the Cup side yet, I haven’t had a really good run on that side, but I talked to Jeff Gordon after the Talladega Cup race. He was standing there and talked to him, he said ‘really happy to see you running so good in Xfinity'”

“Not saying that there’s any opportunity there, just higher people in the industry, he’s one of them. You know for me, I hope they’re looking at the Xfinity results. I’m putting in lot of hardwork for the Cup side but just the results haven’t been there but right now my priority is chasing Xfinity series championship and we have a good opportunity to do that. That’s my priority right now,” the Xfinity driver further stated.
