Kenny Wallace’s recent video left some fans confused about the CARS Tour

Some fans were confused over the broadcasting side of the CARS Tour and that was made evident thanks to Kenny Wallace. The 60-year-old recently released a video on Twitter, promoting the Snowball Derby which will take place at the Five Flags Speedway on Sunday. However, the price of watching the event was deemed too high by some fans.

The Snowball Derby, also considered to be one of the most iconic short-track racing events in a calendar year, is a bit pricey for fans to watch. The weekend was being charged as a pay-per-view. The all-access cost of the event on Racing America is $74.99.

That indeed is a high price, but some fans believed that even the CARS Tour races would be similarly priced. “Guess I’ll be watching a lot less CARS Tour races next year,” one fan wrote, being under the misconception.

However, Dale Earnhardt Jr quickly cleared up any confusion with a hilarious response. “Y’all two goofballs… this is not a Cars Tour event. Cars Tour is on Flo and is included in the annual subscription. No Cars Tour events are PPV. What Kenny is promoting is a super late model event. Totally unrelated. But y’all go on,” the 49-year-old tweeted.

Dale Earnhardt Jr expresses ambitions for his stock car racing series

Junior believes that the CARS Tour has a lot of potential when it comes to the quality of racing and the storylines that may pop up. With 20 races in a year, the competition is expanding rapidly. It will be interesting to see how far the racing series can go in the coming years.

“As someone involved in the series ownership group, it’s never enough. We’re ambitious, and the value of the series is still unrealized. We’ve got a lot of potential with good, quality racing and a lot of great storylines. I’m pretty bullish, but there’s not enough days in the year to accomplish all your tasks,” Junior said as per NASCAR.
