Dale Earnhardt Jr. talked about it on a recent episode of Dale Jr. download where he talked about his result at Michigan. In fact, he believes everyone tried to help him. Junior said, “After Michigan, I bet his phone was slammed full of text messages from all kinds of people in the industry. The Dale Jarretts, to the Brad Daugherty [saying] ‘Hey man, you need to be happier about that result, you don’t need to put that pressure on you. Let’s think about all the good things going on, let’s think about all the good direction we’re going in, let’s focus on that.'”

But of course, he won the race at Kansas and got his payback. And Dale Jr. couldn’t be happier as he said, “And then, that’s what it seems like he’s been doing, so when he wins this race, he goes ‘ f u haters’, and he was happy. Goes to Victory Lane, and he’s happy to see his guys and everything, the way you would expect, in terms of being able to have a good enjoyment and a great experience. I felt he was allowed to enjoy that moment.”
