Dale Earnhardt Jr Urged to “Run NASCAR” Amidst His Scathing Yet Correct Criticism of Ridiculous Ryan Blaney Decision

Amongst the flood of criticism that flowed after the end of the All-Star Race at the Texas Motor Speedway, there was perhaps no name bigger than that of Dale Earnhardt Jr. The NASCAR Hall of Famer didn’t hold back on his wit or his criticism after the late-race caution that confused the drivers, the broadcasting booth, and, obviously, the fans.

“Nascar is gonna gladly let you debate the window net so as you don’t reflect on how ridiculous that yellow flag situation was as Blaney was crossing the finish line to win,” he tweeted.

As you’d expect with most of the things Dale Jr says or does, fans also backed his opinion on this one, or rather, they echoed his criticism. In fact, one fan even asked him to run NASCAR and be the President, something that could very well happen in the future should the stars align.

Along with Dale Earnhardt Jr, Denny Hamlin also blasts NASCAR

After the race, Denny Hamlin, who felt hard-done-by at the hands of the officiating towards the end, expressed his frustrations with NASCAR. “This isn’t a Denny Hamlin judgement call,” he said.

“I’m just saying, ‘Whatever the rule is, let’s be consistent and play by the rules.’ It’s unfortunate because he made a mistake.”

He argued that Ryan Blaney should’ve won the race the first time as he was 100 yards away from the win, that “many cars have not won races” because of a mistake at the end, and that “those things happen.”

The #11 driver added that he is confused about whether or not it was a “moral problem” they had, to not cost him the win so they conveniently threw the caution at the end.

“I think they just had a moral dilemma instead of just playing by the rules like they’re supposed to.”
