There are celebrities who never ‘grow out’ of their image and there are celebrities that adapt to their age and phases in life. This probably explains why Dale Earnhardt Jr is just as famous in retirement as he was when he was a NASCAR driver.

Today, apart from all his entrepreneurial activities, Dale Jr’s most important role is that of a husband and a father.
And it is this role, this phase, that makes him relatable to the fans who grew up with him and are in the same phase as him. To see that even someone like him faces the same situations as an average person is a comforting thing.
Just look at his recent banter with wife Amy Earnhardt on Twitter.
Dale Jr. tweeted, “This morning: My wife has expressed to me for months I need to be more careful around the kids with cuss words. So far I’m lucky they haven’t repeated any I’ve said. Amy says “hell no” just now and Isla immediately repeated it about 15 times. Islas first cuss word wasn’t daddy’s!”
On this tweet, the current NASCAR driver reacted with a YouTube video titled – “Marriage Logic Map of ‘SHE’ is always ‘RIGHT’.”
But soon after, Amy Earnhardt raised the stakes as she replied, “Oh ok Daddy. Wanna tell the people why I said it?”
“Ok everybody into the circle of truth: I blew my nose and then offered her a kiss. I was being gross. So I guess this means the kid’s cussin is my fault. (See @keselowski tweet for reference on how to determine fault),” Earnhardt Jr made his case.

Dale Earnhardt Jr rewards his wife with a new purpose after her sacrifices
Recently, Dale Jr. launched a vodka brand, ‘High Rock’ in which he is a co-owner with his wife.
Earnhardt Jr described how when the couple met, Amy Earnhardt put everything in her life aside for his racing career, and raising their family. “Over the last several years, we’ve had a lot of conversations about how she needs a purpose in her life in the professional stance,” he added.

He added how he thought for a long time to give her something “that’s her own,” something she’s a part of and feels invested in.
“This checks a lot of those boxes.”
