Gordon is ranked third on the list of most wins in NASCAR history, with 93 wins to his name. He’s regarded as one of the greatest drivers ever. Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s has only 27 wins to his name, ranking 32nd on that list.

Jeff Gordon is currently in an executive position at Hendrick Motorsports.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.

While Dale Earnhardt Jr. hasn’t won a Cup Series title in his career, when he retired in 2017, he was the most successful NASCAR driver in history in terms of money. Earnhardt is also a two-time Daytona 500 winner.

In 2017, he became the highest-paid NASCAR driver with a salary of $21.7 million, as reported by Forbes.

His sponsorship deals include brands like Chevrolet, Goody’s, Axalta, Wrangler and TaxSlayer. The two-time Daytona 500 winner owns a race car team, JR Motorsports, in the Xfinity Series. He earns $8 million from sponsorships.

In 2017, he was voted as the most popular NASCAR driver for the 15th year in a row.

Earnhardt Jr. is currently the co-owner of JR Motorsports and runs his podcast channel on YouTube.

He currently has a reported net worth of over $300 million, making him the richest NASCAR driver in history.
