Christmas is a time for family and to celebrate with loved ones. For children, it is a time to get presents from Santa Claus and to enjoy good food. Now, ahead of the 2022 Christmas holidays, Dale Earnhardt Jr has decided to get in the Christmas spirit. The first photo is from the year 1977, in which he is seen playing with his sister Kelley. At the time, he had received a toy train from Santa Claus. That 1980 trophy was the first NASCAR Winston Cup trophy—the first of the seven won by Dale Sr.

What is next for Dale Earnhardt Jr?

Now that he has made a name for himself in the sport, it is time for his children to look forward to Christmas and the New Year. Beyond that, the former Daytona 500 winner will be eagerly waiting for the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. This is because it will be a chance for his team JR Motorsports to race toward another title. The team boasts of a fairly strong lineup for the upcoming campaign.

The lineup consists of Sam Mayer, Justin Allgaier, Josh Berry, and Brandon Jones. Out of the quartet, Jones is the newcomer, having spent the last five years with Joe Gibbs Racing. JGR have come under fire a lot lately, owing to the fact that they have let go of many drivers in recent past. This year was no exception, with two time Cup Series champion Kyle Busch departing for Richard Childress Racing, and Jones for JR Motorsports.
