The holiday season is in full swing and the NASCAR community is spending valuable time with their families. There have been several pictures posted online by drivers, team owners, crew chiefs, and insiders celebrating Christmas and the year’s end. However, Dale Earnhardt Jr does not seem to have clicked a picture with his wife Amy Earnhardt so far this season. As a result, she was quick to take a sarcastic dig at her husband on Instagram.

Junior recently revealed that he had been celebrating Christmas with two sets of people. First, he visited his wife’s side of the family in Texas before spending time with his brother and sister. Junior had even shared a picture with his side of the family and attached a heartfelt message as well.

“Celebrating Christmas Eve with my brother and sister is always a great time. And this Queen song kicks ass. I have a radio in the garage that constantly plays a local station, Christmas music all this month. It’ll move back to regular programming in a few days and I’ll miss it. Till this time next year. As a kid, Christmas was everything and now as a father/husband this holiday is eagerly anticipated again,” the 49-year-old wrote on Instagram.

However, he did not seem to get the time to take a picture with Amy Earnhardt. As a result, she shared a post on her IG stories that said, “True best friends have no pictures together.” She also wrote in the story, “@dalejr that explains it…but I still want some.” Now that’s some cheeky way to get your husband to do the right thing.

Dale Earnhardt Jr was recently beaten by his wife in a competition they were having, much to the former two-time Xfinity Series champion’s dismay.

It turns out that both husband and wife are avid football fans. And what is a common activity of an avid football fan? Fantasy football. With the NFL season inching towards its conclusion, both Dale Jr and Amy Earnhardt picked their respective fantasy football teams.

Junior is a man who does not usually go wrong with his predictions. Remember, he was one of the first people who said that Ryan Blaney would have a good chance of winning the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series. However, this time around, it was Amy who got her fantasy teams right and reached the championship round while her husband was knocked out.

The 49-year-old expressed his disappointment on Twitter with a tweet that read “Wife’s team went to the fantasy football championship and mine did not,” over an animated GIF of Santa drinking alcohol straight from the bottle.

It is safe to say that there rarely is a dull day at the Earnhardt household. In the off-season, Dale Jr and his family’s antics have kept the fans engaged and happy.
