Dale Jr. Teases An Update to the iRacing NASCAR Game

NASCAR legend Dale Jr. has some good news for the fans of virtual NASCAR racing. He teased a new addition to the iRacing game on Twitter.

2020 has been one of the toughest years for every sport and for all the athletes. eSports helped the athletes remain in sync with their respective sports and provided some entertainment to the fans. Just like some other sports, NASCAR was hosting their eSports events with the help of the iRacing game.

The COVID-19 pandemic forced the drivers to drive from their homes virtually due to the lockdown. Some of the current NASCAR Cup drivers and others, for example, Dale Earnhardt Jr. had joined FOX Sports to keep fans engaged by taking an interest in the E-NASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series during the pandemic.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. just recently announced that iRacing will be releasing the Nashville track in the games. The veteran is fond of the game and has been quite vocal about the game.

The eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series was attracting a huge number of fans. It had garnered a lot of praise from famous NASCAR drivers. With no genuine racing, the fans were stuck to the screens viewing celebrated drivers hustling virtually.

Tennessean reported, the virtual race at Homestead-Miami was broadcasted on FS1 and had 1 million watchers. FOX and FS1 again broadcasted the following race at Texas Motor Speedway, which pulled in 1.3 million viewers, and 1.1 million watched the race at Bristol Motor Speedway on April 5.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. – The Virtual Racer

Dale Earnhardt Jr. has been an active player in the iRacing game. The two-time Daytona 500 winner has been playing the game for more than three years. He was actively involved in the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series during the lockdown due to COVID-19.

In a 2018 Tweet, he wrote: “@iRacing is unbelievably realistic. I spent a year racing an individual online, determined with confidence he would do well driving our late models regardless of his experience or lack of it in real cars.
