The former NASCAR driver and the science journalist talked about the various ways in which the food industry is corrupted. Lugavere discussed a recent research paper that looked at the conflict of interest among people who were invited to contribute to the 2020 dietary guidelines for Americans. He revealed that 95% of the committee members had conflicts of interest with Pharma and the food industry.

Agreeing with the revelation, Danica Patrick mimicked the action of money flowing. Her gesture indicated that all the gimmicks by the food and pharma industry are nothing but misleading and a way to make money. The two of them discussed how propagating breakfast as the most essential meal of the day is actually a way to sell more cereals and other breakfast products.

Apart from that she also supported Lugavere’s contention that all this affects and confuses the normal American and steers them away from ancestral foods. Lugavere said; “It steers them away from ancestral foods like beef, eggs, fish, and things like that…” To this, Patrick added, “Liver, organ meats.”
