Earlier this year, ex-IndyCar and NASCAR driver Danica Patrick underwent surgery. To be precise, she got her breast implants removed. In conversation with Paul Saladino aka Carnivore MD, Patrick opened up on some of the reasons why the implants were causing problems for her.
Among others, she highlighted three main reasons why the implants became an issue.

She said, “There are certain pathways within the body that are going to make breast implants a problem.”

“It’s a foreign object and your body’s going to attack it.”

“First off, there’s three things. One, my vessel lining is the poorest vessel lining that there is. So the lines of my veins is not quality at all. That is easy to inflame, and that’s a problem in of itself.”
What else did Danica Patrick say about her medical problems?
The former IndyCar driver also confessed that she had a scare in 2021. Nevertheless, she managed to work through it and now she is taking better care of herself. Danica Patrick admitted that her own body did not react well to the breast implants, so she was forced to get them removed.
She continued, “Then the other thing is that I am really good at detoxing through the gut and environment things that come on. To the point that I actually have an autoimmune response to it.”
“My body is in overdrive, getting rid of things and creates an autoimmune response.”

“And the third thing is that when my cells oxidate and flush, the oxidation, I don’t clear the oxidation.”
“When I work out really hard and I breathe really heavy, create that oxidative stress in my body, my body doesn’t clear it. So now I have just this buildup process happening in my body that I’m just getting sicker.”

Now, she is happy and is in pursuit of a healthy lifestyle. Danica Patrick has her own podcast, has written her own book, has multiple business ventures, and has occasional commentary gigs. So, life seems to be looking up for the 40-year-old.
