Yes, it sounds bizarre. What has Eminem got to do with Danica Patrick?

The truth is as weird as it sounds. Eminem not only mentioned but dissed Patrick in two of his songs. In his 2013 single, ‘So Far’, Eminem calls himself a ‘dirtbag‘ and Patrick, a ‘vacuum‘.

“You’re Danica Patrick (Yeah?) word, skag/We’d be the perfect match/‘Cause you’re a vacuum, I’m a dirtbag.”

Although Eminem uses metaphors for Patrick in his 2013 song, he made it very clear what he thinks about her in the 2019 hit song, ‘Venom’:

“What’s her name’s at the wheel? Danica Patrick/Throw the car into reverse at the Indy, end up crashin.”

The reason for Eminem’s bitterness, you ask?

Well, according to Cheat Sheet, nobody really knows why he chooses to diss the race driver. Neither of them have ever been spotted together or been involved in any way. Yet Eminem has dissed her on two occasions.

Neither of have commented on any of the two songs.

Danica Patrick is on the good side of Shawn Carter

Shawn Carter, better known as Jay Z, cast Patrick in the music video for one of his songs in 2006. He also cast another NASCAR icon, Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Speaking about his decision to cast Patrick, the rap legend revealed, ‘It just felt fun’. Jay Z explained he didn’t want to put too much into his song, that he didn’t want to take the super heavy or complex lyrics turn.

“Show me what you got, purdy lady. That was needed. It’s basically a fun record,” he said to MTV.

While many credit Danica Patrick for her success as a female driver in an all-male racing scene, some also question her racing skills. It is fair that we look at the praises as well as the criticisms.

Patrick is somewhat of a pioneer for women in motorsports. However, she’s also had instances in which she put other drivers at risk on track. Yet this Eminem criticism is quite random, and that is what makes it even more interesting.

So we just have one question – Will the real Slim Shady please clear this up?
