When Daniel Suarez‘s soon-to-be-wife Julia Piquet left for Brazil alone, nine days ago, she was perhaps expecting a nice little surprise awaiting her at home upon her return. Maybe a candlelight dinner or a movie night? Well, the “surprise” aspect was definitely intact, but not in the way she would’ve ever expected.

Daniel Suarez might be a superstar on the racetrack, but when it comes to his off-track life, he perhaps needs a little assistance. And that’s exactly what Julia Piquet learned after she returned home. There, hanging on the drying rack, was the laundry she had left to dry nine days ago, essentially untouched. Regardless, it made for a hilarious exchange between the two for fans to enjoy on social media.

“I left for Brazil 9 days ago and when I got back today I noticed the laundry was STILL hanging to dry on the racks 😂😭👹 Thank you @Daniel_SuarezG 🫠,” she wrote as she shared a picture of the clothes. Suarez also replied with a couple of emoticons, and wrote, “🫣😶🌫️”
