Daniel Suarez to Drive for Justin Marks’ Trackhouse Racing Team in 2021

A few days ago, Justin Marks’ upcoming NASCAR team tweeted that they had a massive announcement coming soon. Now, the team has finally spilled the beans and announced that Daniel Suarez will race for them.

It is worth noting that Team Trackhouse will ally themselves with Richard Childress Racing (RCR) in 2021.

In spite of this announcement, there are still a few details that have to iron out. Team Trackhouse assured that they have leased the 77 charter from Spire Motorsports. Other intricacies like the Crew Chief and the sponsors yet to be decided.

Speaking about the move, Daniel Suarez said, “Justin has been involved in the racing world for over 20 yrs. He understands the ins & outs of the sport both as a driver & from the business side. I have learned that this sport is about people & I know we are going to work very hard to put together a talented team.”

The former driver revealed that he always dreamed of setting up a top-level NASCAR Cup Series team. According to Marks, the team put in a lot of hard work to reach where they are now.

He heaped plenty of praise in the direction of RCR and Chevrolet. Marks also dubbed Suarez as a passionate and committed driver, and noted his drive and hunger to succeed.

Marks said, “We are building a team of winners and Daniel has delivered just about every time he’s sat in race-winning equipment. It’s my job now to put a car underneath him that will carry him to the highest echelon of the sport.”

Currently, Suarez races for Gaunt Brothers Racing and has a season-best finish of 18th. His career-best finish was a 2nd place at Pocono in 2018 for Joe Gibbs Racing. Now, Suarez is looking to close out the year before he moves to Team Trackhouse.
