Daniel Suarez is Mexican, and his Hispanic identity is deeply important to him. Keeping in mind that the Hispanic Heritage Month is going on, Coca-Cola and Gaunt Brothers Racing decided to celebrate that. So, the 28-year-old will run a brand new livery to honor fellow Hispanic Americans and their contributions to American society.

Local Saltillo Sarape artists in his hometown inspired the livery. On it was the message, “El orgullo nos guia,” which translates to ‘Pride Leads the Way’.

In addition to that, Suarez will host Daniel’s Amigos virtual fan event.

In 2021, Suarez is set to join forces with the newly-formed Team Trackhouse. He said, “Maybe for people that already know me and maybe for people that see all this just from the very, very back. Maybe they’re thinking, ‘What the heck is Daniel doing starting again with a brand new team?’. But it’s a very good opportunity.

“I have done a lot in the last few years. I know what it takes to be successful, not just on the race track but as well as outside the race track. And one of the advantages Justin (Marks) has is that he’s still a race-car driver and now he’s a team owner, so he understands all sides of the coin extremely well.”

The Mexican driver insisted that he is in this project in the long run. In his career, Daniel Suarez has recorded a best finish of 2nd in the 2018 season, which came in Pocono.  At that time, he raced for Joe Gibbs Racing, and now he will be looking forward to a new challenge with Team Trackhouse.

He confessed that he always lacked consistency, so Suarez wants to discover that form in the Justin Marks-owned Team Trackhouse. For the moment, he is set to complete the 2020 season with Gaunt Brothers Racing. His best finish this season is an 18th place at Bristol and at Indianapolis.
