The atrocities of mankind are taking a toll on the world across the globe. While one may think what is its connection to the world of NASCAR, the recent heart-wrenching incident that happened at the Covenant School had JJ Yeley race in the Cup Series at Bristol Speedway, to encourage fans to donate for a noble cause. Though his last race at Richmond Raceway had turned into a nightmare because of the incident with Denny Hamlin, he did not let that affect his fight to earn his place at the Bristol race. After all, Yeley had a very kind thought behind it.
Last week’s race at the Richmond Raceway wasn’t great for Yeley at all. The Rick Ware Racing driver, who is generally calm, had lost his cool this time. He was hit and spun out by the Joe Gibbs Racing driver, Denny Hamlin. Post-race, Yeley called out the irony of Hamlin’s situation.

“I know the odds aren’t great even at superspeedways, but I don’t think there’s anyone I want to see win more than Yeley. What a hell of a story that would be: start out racing for one of the sport’s top teams, and finally get win #1 ~20 years later driving a shitbox.”

“Honestly, if he can pull off a top 15. I think a lot of us should rally to donate. A win or top 5 is too much to ask for out of RWR equipment. But a top 15 is something he could realistically pull off with his talent.”
