Even after 75 years, there have been a limited number of female drivers that have graced NASCAR tracks. Despite the massive difference between demographics, there are always a few who try their best to compete and rise up the ranks. One such driver, Natalie Decker, recently said that she has a major announcement coming up very soon.

However, she did not reveal too much about it. Rumors suggest that it could be related to her NASCAR career. Although, just days ago, this same driver had severely criticized NASCAR for their insincere show of solidarity for supporting women in the sport.

Decker Mentioned in a recent Twitter post, BIG ANNOUNCEMENT COMING TOMORROW… tune into my twitch channel tomorrow (January 25th at 6:00 pm EST) you don’t wanna miss it.”

While it’s unclear what it could exactly be, hopes are certainly high amongst her fans. Many of them think that she might be getting a shot at higher tiers of NASCAR. Though this can only be determined after she announces whatever she has to say.

Merely days ahead of her big announcement teaser, the Xfinity Series driver had taken to social media to trash NASCAR. It was mostly around the hot topic of giving equal opportunities to women in the sport.

A couple of days ago, Decker took to Tik Tok to share her rant. In her post, she apparently called out NASCAR for their apparent “public bullsh*t,” regarding their “support” for female drivers in the sport.

There is no denying that NASCAR has always been a male-dominated sport. However, every now and then we have seen a few women come in and rock up the scene. Although, none of them has ever won a championship to date. But their mere presence in the top flight of American motorsports has changed notions and prejudices over time.

The last woman to have raced full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series was Danica Patrick. Though she did not win a race, she did have several great moments (including seven top-ten finishes) during her stint. However, one may reckon that after Danica’s presence in the sport, things would get easier for upcoming women in the sport. Well, if we hear Decker’s remarks, it doesn’t seem to be going too well in that regard.
