The NASCAR community gets to witness thrilling incidents or situations on track quite often. But this one situation that got caught on camera was dramatic in a totally different way. Both Brad Keselowski and Denny Hamlin were surprised and embarrassed at the Cup Series race in Atlanta by the bizarre incident which turned out to be a race for nature’s call!
The RFK Racing driver finished the race at the second spot just behind Joey Logano and quickly made a run towards the bathroom to relieve himself. Denny Hamlin, who was in a similar situation and wanted to relieve himself was right behind him. It would not have been such a big deal if Keselowski had just locked his door.

But he may have missed doing so in a hurry and Hamlin, who reached there after him, just barged in through the door, given his emergency. But he also got out immediately after realizing.
What did Denny Hamlin have to say about his awkward interaction with Brad Keselowski?
The Joe Gibbs Racing star recently opened up about the embarrassing incident in his podcast Actions Detrimental. In the podcast, he revealed, “I’m not gonna talk about what I saw, but it was very interesting to see him with his helmet on in the fire suit.”
He further stated that he understands Keselowski’s situation as he himself wanted to use the bathroom badly. Hamlin explained that the amount of fluid he takes throughout the entire race gives him a stomach ache holding it. So he makes sure that before and after the race he relieves himself.
Hamlin further said, “I’ve never peed or done anything in my suit in my 18-year career, never, hand to God on that, never done it. But I was so uncomfortable at the end of Atlanta, that I wanted to let it go.”
A lot was going on in his mind at that moment. It may have been him not wanting to make a mess of his suit and his seat. So he had to run for nature’s call. When Hamlin barged into the occupied bathroom, he immediately got out, but he pointed out in the podcast that no one keeps the door unlocked and the green handle is there to avoid such incidents. And certainly, it was not his job to knock on the door.
Hamlin said, “so definitely a Rookie move by Brad” and the co-host agreed with him.

Fans would certainly agree about the photographer, though they had a lot of fun watching it. Really, who does that? Reeling in such a private moment, in their case, completely turned embarrassing for both drivers.
