NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin used to host an event known as the Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown, but ever since the Covid pandemic, the charity race has not seen the light. However, recently Hamlin and Dale Earnhardt Jr. were seen discussing the possibility of its revival during a discussion over Twitter.

Hamlin’s short track showdown used to take place at tracks such as the Southside Speedway, Richmond Raceway, South Boston Speedway, and Langley Speedway. The races saw Late model cars go around in circles driven by some of the best-known local and regional racing drivers.
