Denny Hamlin reveals the idea behind his ‘Detrimental Actions’

After rattling the cage by deciding not to appeal against NASCAR’s penalty and then going back against his word, Denny Hamlin talked about the real motive behind the Actions Detrimental podcast and what he plans on achieving with the fast-growing initiative.

During the conversation, Denny disclosed, “You know my job on this podcast and what I did last week was give the fans listening, an inside perspective of what they are hearing here, what did the TV not show you, what did they show but maybe not explain.” 

Denny opened up to Jared about how he sees things from a fan’s standpoint or even maybe from a newbie fan’s perspective. He insisted that to new fans NASCAR might seem a little too complex.

Quoting him, “How many times have we heard people say, ‘It’s too damn confusing. I don’t understand NASCAR. I’m coming here on Monday to try to help with that, this is helping the sport.” Thus, Hamlin intends to cater to the new fans and help them get a better knowledge of the sport.
