NASCAR driver for Joe Gibbs Racing, Denny Hamlin recently made his choice of gift clear. He jokingly replied to a tweet from Alanis King that suggested a gift for the 40-year-old.
King had posted a picture of a Shot Glass Chess Set on Twitter as she wrote, “I hope at least one person bought this for @dennyhamlin for the holidays.”
And Hamlin replied, urging his fans to get him that set.

Hamlin seemed to be in a fun mood on Christmas eve as his Twitter activity suggested.
He also replied to a picture of Dale Earnhardt Jr. in which the JR Motorsports owner was in a very uncomfortable position trying to capture the perfect shot. Dale Jr. had posted a picture of the Christmas tree and the gifts, but his wife had clicked a photo of him clicking the photo.
In behind the scenes of Earnhardt’s photography masterclass, he can be seen lying on the ground in pursuit of excellence. This is something Denny Hamlin related to and trolled Earnhardt for.
“The ol lay on the floor cuz it’s too damn hard to get up from the knees. Trust me, I get it,” Hamlin wrote.
Denny Hamlin has a big season coming
The Joe Gibbs driver will look to recharge all of his batteries in the off-season as he will need more dedication and focus than ever before in 2022. This is because not only will Hamlin try to win his first Cup Series title, something which has evaded him for all his career, but because he also has the duties and pressure of a team owner.
Hamlin’s team, 23XI Racing, will field another car in the next season with Kurt Busch being added alongside Bubba Wallace.
