During a recent interview with FrontStretch, HMS star Alex Bowman stated his opinion.  

When asked, “Early this week, there were maybe some questions about Jimmie Johnson not being unanimous in the Hall of Fame. Do you have a thought on that, if any?”

Bowman answered, “I mean, that guy should be the easiest unanimous vote of all time, but I don’t know. I don’t know much about the voting process, and I don’t even know everybody that’s on the panel except for Bob. But I feel like that’s an easy vote.

“But I guess people have the reasons that it wasn’t, and that’s why they vote. But I mean, at the end of the day, like it should be unanimous 100% but in my opinion, but that’s my opinion, and I’m not even on the panel, so it doesn’t really matter.”  

It’s not uncommon for Hall of Fame voters to have varying opinions on greatness in the racing world. Racing history is adorned with incredible talents, each leaving a unique legacy.
